Thanks for visiting my website! This blog covers topics related to obesity and diabetes, all from the perspective of genomics and high-dimensional analysis.  In the last decade genomics has been quickly integrated into the public domain with vast potential to radically impact society, medicine and politics.  My specific research interests are devoted to understanding how next-generation sequencing can be exploited to inform treatment of obesity and diabetes- and my blog tends to reflect these topics.  Most of my posts are reviews of recent papers in the field of genomics as it pertains to obesity and diabetes.  I have also tried to include some more general discussion of “big data” analysis and some of the statistical methods that are applied to genomic medicine. You can follow the activity of this site and get updates when I post new content in a couple ways.
